Studio Bridge: The Seamless Connection Between Analogue and Digital

Perfect for both studio and live environments, the Tascam Studio Bridge seamlessly bridges the gap between your beloved analogue mixer and modern digital workflows, so you can experience the best of both worlds-the warmth of analogue and the precision of digital. Whether you’re tracking to a DAW using the Studio Bridge as a 24×24 USB audio interface or directly to the built-in 24-track recorder for a DAWless setup, you can preserve the rich analogue sound of your console and outboard gear. Tracks recorded to your DAW or the onboard recorder can be returned to your analogue console for mix summing, and then recorded back to the DAW or to the Studio Bridge’s internal 512GB SDXC card.

To streamline interfacing between analogue and digital domains, the Studio Bridge includes a dedicated DAW transport control feature, enabling direct access to Record, Play, Stop, Fast Forward, and Rewind functions. Equally important, it offers tactile track-arm buttons, allowing you to arm/disarm individual tracks and perform punch ins/outs on your DAW. Additionally, you will appreciate the Control app, which allows you to visually monitor multiple signals and other key functions for enhanced control and customisation.

Studio Bridge has its own internal 24-in / 24-out multitrack recorder that uses an SDXC card as its media format. The recorder supports 24-bit digital audio at 44.1 and 48 kHz.

Easily connect your analogue mixer to your DAW using the Studio Bridge as a 24-in / 24-out audio interface.

You can record directly into any DAW and even create a summed mix using your console and outboard gear with audio returns.

DAW Transport Controller and Dedicated Metre Bridge Software

Studio Bridge also works as a DAW transport controller. Rec/Play/Stop, and Rec Ready buttons link directly to your DAW for ease of use.

The control software includes a digital metre bridge, which is available for Windows/Mac to monitor audio levels on each channel including the stereo master bus.

MIDI Synchronisation for Your Sequencers

With 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O ports, your favourite drum machines, sequencers, synths, and controllers can easily be integrated into any production.

Inputs/Outputs

With 24-in / 24-out analogue line-level I/O over DB25 connectors, the Studio Bridge has more than enough channels for tracking and mixing larger productions.

Plus, no mic preamps mean you can preserve the audio quality of your analogue signal chain.

Phones/Local Monitoring

Monitor inputs and track sources through the dedicated headphone/local monitor section on the front panel of the Studio Bridge.

Solo function

Quickly solo any of the 24 inputs by pushing shift and REC on the corresponding track.

To check if any channel is in solo mode, a quick glance at the master section will reveal if the solo indicator is live.

Keep your performers on time and locked in with the internal metronome and dedicated 1/4″ TRS click output with tempo control.
