Processing Your Order

After you complete your purchase and our system confirms your payment, we begin processing. This processing stage takes 48 hours.

Here is every step our team takes during processing:

  • Order is received in our warehouse system
  • Staff member receives picking assignment on handheld device
  • Items are located using shelf and bin coordinates
  • Each product is scanned to confirm correct selection
  • Visual inspection for damage, missing parts, or defects
  • Items are placed on packing station workbench
  • Appropriate box or mailer is selected based on item size
  • Products are arranged inside the container
  • Void fill such as kraft paper or air pillows is added
  • Container is folded and sealed with packing tape
  • Package is placed on scale for weight measurement
  • Shipping label is generated with your address
  • Label is applied to the top of the package
  • Package is moved to outbound staging area
  • Package is scanned into daily carrier pickup manifest

Processing days are business days only. Business days are Monday through Friday excluding major holidays such as New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. An order placed on a Saturday begins processing on the following Monday.

Shipping Your Order

When the carrier picks up your package from our loading dock, the shipping stage begins. Your package typically arrives within 3-5 businessday after pickup.

The shipping stage follows this path through the carrier network:

  • Driver scans each package using a handheld scanner
  • Packages are loaded onto the carrier’s truck
  • Truck transports packages to local carrier branch
  • Packages are unloaded and sorted by destination zone
  • Packages are loaded onto outbound trailers headed to regional hubs
  • Trailers travel to regional sortation centers
  • Packages are sorted again based on final zip code
  • Packages are loaded onto long-haul trucks or air freight
  • Packages travel to destination region
  • Packages arrive at destination delivery station
  • Packages are sorted onto specific delivery routes
  • Packages are loaded onto local delivery vehicles
  • Driver scans package before departing on route
  • Package is delivered to your front door, mailbox, or reception desk
  • Driver completes final delivery scan

The 3-5 businessday estimate represents average delivery time for standard ground shipping within the lower 48 states. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and international addresses require additional transit time.

Calculating Your Total Wait Time

Many customers mistakenly assume shipping time begins when they place their order. This is incorrect. Shipping time begins only after processing is complete.

Correct calculation: Total wait = 48 hours processing + 3-5 businessday shipping

Incorrect calculation: Total wait = 3-5 businessday only

Example: You place an order on Monday. Processing takes 48 hours business days, meaning your order ships on Wednesday. Shipping takes 3-5 businessday business days, meaning delivery occurs on the following Tuesday. Weekends extend the calendar timeline.

Tracking Number Delivery

We send tracking information to the email address associated with your order. This email is sent automatically when the carrier scans your package during pickup. This scan occurs at the end of the 48 hours processing window.

After receiving your tracking number, please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier’s tracking website to show meaningful information. The initial “Label Created” status is normal. Actual movement scans appear once your package reaches the carrier’s first sorting facility. If no scans appear after 48 hours, contact our support team for assistance.

What Extends Delivery Time

Several factors can cause delivery to take longer than the 48 hours processing estimate combined with the 3-5 businessday shipping estimate:

  • Address errors such as wrong street number, misspelled street name, or incorrect zip code
  • Missing secondary address information like apartment, floor, or suite number
  • Severe winter weather including snowstorms, ice, and freezing rain
  • Hurricanes, tornadoes, or flooding in the shipping path
  • Major holiday weeks including Thanksgiving week and the two weeks before Christmas
  • Large sale events such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Prime Day
  • Carrier system outages or technology failures
  • Local carrier facility understaffing due to illness or labor disputes
  • Package misrouted to wrong sorting facility
  • Delivery attempted when recipient was not available to sign or receive
  • Package left at incorrect address by delivery driver
