Description
Are you looking to buy Polymaker PolyLite PLA in Australia?
PolyLite is a family of 3D printing filaments made with the best raw materials to deliver exceptional quality and reliability. PolyLite Galaxy PLA is a high-quality PLA witha hint of reflective glitter inside to create aseries of dark sparkling colours with aneye-catching galaxy effect.
To prevent nozzle clogs a0.6mm nozzle diameteror larger is necessary for printing galaxy filament.
FEATURES
-
Starry Galaxy Effect –PolyLite Galaxy PLA is a high quality PLA witha hint of reflective glitter inside to create aseries of dark sparkling colours with aneye catching galaxy effect. Thisstarry effectmakes PolyLite Galaxy PLAa great option for astronomymodels, science fiction toys, figurinesand a wide range of fun and aesthetically pleasingprojects.
-
Strength and Rigidity –PolyLite GalaxyPLA is based on the samehigh molecular weight PLA as PolyLite PLA which makes it one of the most rigid PLA materials on the market. The combination of good tensile strength, inter-layer adhesion and stiffness makesPolyLite Galaxy PLAideal for product design and prototyping applications that requirea rigidmaterial that is easy to print.
-
Compatibility In Mind –PolyLite GalaxyPLAis compatible with a wide range of 3D printers equipped with a 0.6mm nozzle or larger. Galaxy PLAworks well on most printing surface with a thin layer of glue stick applied, no heated bed is required but can sometimes be used at 40 – 60C for better results (maximum 60C).
-
Anti Heat Creep technology –PolyLite Galaxy PLAis manufactured with Polymakers Jam-Free technology which improves theheat stability of the filament with softening temperatures over 140C and leads to excellent printing quality with zero risk of nozzle jams caused by heat creep[1].
-
Uncompromised Quality –PolyLite Galaxy PLAfilament is made withthe highest quality ingredients includingIngeo from Natureworks.Natureworks is aworld-leading biopolymers supplier based in the USA with a portfolio of high quality raw PLA materials produced fromrapidly renewable plant resources. Combining Polymakers innovative R&D technologies, compounding and extrusion systems with Natureworks Ingeo resins produces areliable 3D printing filament toprintbeautiful and accurate models
[1]Heat creep is the the process of heat spreading irregularly throughout the hot end, one common example is with all metal hot end designs. Once heat creeps towards the cold end, the PLA filament softens prematurely in the cold end and expands resulting in a jam. Polymakers Jam-Free technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140C which prevents the filament from prematurely softening in the cold end and can still melt rapidly once entering the heating zone.
