The Transfolder softbox features a collapsible design that is rod-free, allowing for quick and easy setup without the hassle of traditional softboxes. This kit then features the Cerberus Multi Mount Holder which will function as a speed ring for the softbox and allow users to use a shoe-mounted flash. Additionally, it comes with the Varos Pro BG umbrella holder to provide tilt control and a standard 5/8″ stand mount.

Phottix Cerberus Multi Mount Holder

By positioning your flash head in the center of your light shaper, the Cerberus Multi Mount Holder from Phottix ensures optimal light dispersal. This mount works directly with Easy-Folder Light Shapers, though optional speed rings are available so you can use your own modifiers. It also incorporates the Griffin Universal Flash Mount, which securely clamps down onto the head of most shoe-mounted units, alleviating stress on the shoe and allowing for the use of shoe-mounted triggering systems. Additionally, the system features a 1/4″-20 thread as well as a 5/8″ stud with 3/8″-16 thread for mounting.

The Varos Pro BG Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder from Phottix is 300% stronger than previous versions and features an aluminium alloy body with a metal cold shoe as well as a 3/8″ and 1/4″ female threaded insert and a male insert with 3/8″ and 1/4″ screws. The holder’s teardrop-shaped umbrella mount accepts shafts from 7 to 10 mm in diameter and is slanted 8 degrees to allow more light to hit the center of the umbrella. Its patented 180-degree tilting mechanism will support up to 30 kg. The Varos Pro BG has a hanging hole with a clip for use with a counterweight or other accessory.
